Full Garden Design
BEFORE WE DESIGN, WE PLAN
Our garden design is a complete service from design to build that examines the possibilities of your outdoor space.
With remote and on-site sessions, we explore your personal tastes, practical needs and landscaping potential. Design consultations are the first stage of your garden renovation project, or as part of a major house remodel or extension project.

Our Design Process
STEP ONE
Consultation
We’ll visit you to see your space, discuss your likes and dislikes, but don’t worry if you don’t yet know exactly what you want – that’s where we can help gather the details.
Then we’ll summarise the brief during our consultation.
STEP TWO
Survey & Analysis
We perform a full site survey, including measurements, building details, levels, existing trees, shrubs and features to be retained.
STEP THREE
Design Plans
A complete plan of the new design with 3D visuals to help you visualise the proposed design. Drawn to scale, this plan will be used by the landscape builder to set out the design prior to commencing the build.
STEP FOUR
Planting Plans
A fully scaled plan incorporating, for example, agreed plants, plant screening, year-round interest, right plant and space. Descriptions, visuals and exact positions are shown to ensure correct quantities.
We base our recommendation on light levels, soil, position and how you use your garden for exercise, kids, pets and entertaining to create the most appropriate selection for you.
STEP FIVE
Build
Once every element is approved, we work in partnership with landscape builders, alternatively, you may have your own preferred landscape builder.
We are on-hand throughout to ensure the original design comes to life as intended.
STEP SIX
Aftercare
You may prefer to maintain your garden, or we can help you too. Either way, we can provide an ongoing aftercare schedule to keep your garden growing and developing as intended.

In a call with me, Nicola Baily Gibson or Vic, we will guide you toward what’s possible in your garden.

What experience do you have as garden designers?
We are professionally trained garden designers and horticulturists (RHS) with over 20 years’ experience in design, build and planting of residential and commercial gardens.
We are also full members of the Association of Professional Landscapers with MAPL accreditation.
Do you have expertise in specific types of gardens or themes?
We are experienced in modern new build gardens, traditional rural or town gardens. All these styles can be enhanced by incorporating wildlife friendly planting along with sustainable practices.
We also offer an aftercare service of consultations to ensure your garden is evolving as you wished- this can include maintenance on a seasonal basis.
